Ein Validation Print ist ein farblich akkurater Druck nach ISO 12647<\/a>-8. Der Validation Print hat gegen\u00fcber dem Kontrakt Proof<\/a> nach ISO 12647-7 h\u00f6here Farbtoleranzen und ist im Gegensatz zu diesem NICHT farb- und rechtsverbindlich.<\/p>\n

Da auch preiswertere Digitaldrucksysteme in der Lage sind, durch laufende Kalibration und Profilierung Validation Prints zu erstellen, werden diese unter Kunstnamen wie “Design Proof<\/a>”, “Schwaben Proof”, “ISO Raster Proof” und vielem mehr von zahlreichen Anbietern als Proofs<\/a> verkauft. Auch die Firma Xerox lud zu “Proofen<\/a> mit Xerox”-Veranstaltungen, obwohl derzeit kein Xerox System in der Lage ist, Kontrakt-“Proof” Qualität zu erreichen, sondern led<\/a>iglich Validation-“Print” Standard erreicht. Eine Veranstaltung “Printen mit Xerox” hätte aber sicher wesentlich weniger Teilnehmer angesprochen.<\/p>\n

Die Qualität und Leistungsfähigkeit eines Validation Print Systemes kann z.B. von der Fogra<\/a> durch das Zertifikat “Validation Print Creation<\/span>” überprüft und erteilt werden. Unternehmen, die für die Erstellung von Validation Prints durch die Fogra zertifiziert sind, dürften das FograCert Logo führen.
